    Actually the food was better than it has been in the past. The restaurant could stand a little cleaning up. It's also beginning to be somewhat run down. I've been going there a long time an it's not very appealing to it's patrons. Nothing has been done to spruce up it's appearance.

    Absolutely some of, if not the, worst Japanese food I've ever had. Salad was okay but the rest was almost uneatable. Not a very clean place and kitchen staff do not wear gloves or nets. Just really not recommended at all. Can't believe people in Reidsville consider this a Japanese meal alternative. Could not chew steak because so tuff and chicken was even worse. Shrimp way over cooked. I have no other comments. Just choose not to eat there again.

    This was the last opportunity we will allow Taste of Japan to serve us. We went this past Thursday evening and it was truly awful. The picture of the salad does not show just how wilted the iceberg lettuce was. It is hard to believe the waitress thought it was acceptable and brought it to the table. The food was purely average if not below average. It was not worth near the $60.00 we paid. The shrimp is typically cooked past well done. The rice stay on the grill so long that it is burnt and too crunchy to chew. The vegetables sit in a chaffing dish so long you have to wonder if they are left over from the day before. On top of that the waitress never once returned to our table after bring our food out. We never got refills on our drinks. Be warned...you will be wasting your money. From now on we will head to Greensboro and spend $30 more and a true Japanese steak house dining experience.
